Analog Devices (ADI) is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of analog, mixed signal, and DSP integrated circuits to help solve the toughest engineering challenges. Having design centers all over the world, ADI is looking to attract and grow engineering talent to work on developing best in-class solutions for the industrial, consumer, automotive and communication markets. The ADI design center in Cluj focuses on system level solutions comprising hardware and software, targeted for applications such as Software Defined Radio, Instrumentation, Machine vision or Audio & Video processing. The local team is split into a few functional groups covering hardware design, FPGA/HDL design, embedded software (both bare metal and Linux), application level software (C++, Pyhton) and algorithms (MATLAB). Having all these capabilities in one place enables us to create complete reference designs and products incorporating the latest Analog Devices technologies as well as solutions from partner companies such as Intel, Xilinx, Nvidia, NXP, Microsoft or the MathWorks. The office is located in one of the newest and most modern buildings in the city, in close proximity to Iulius Mall.

Hiring criteria:

  • Good understanding of embedded systems
  • Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of software development languages, including but not limited to C, C++, Python and shell scripting.
  • Exposure to electronics measurement equipment including oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, multimeters
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Have the ability to work independently and in a team to develop innovative solutions
